Chelsea “have no weaknesses” is the Premier League Champion No. 1 candidate?

Chelsea was graded as without weakness” making them capable of winning both the Premier League and the Champions League.

Chelsea is beginning this season to prove that they are worthy of winning the Premier League title even if early in the season expectations are for Liverpool and Man City. Having finished fourth last season, “The Blues” was strengthened by Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell, Edouard Mendy and Thiago Silva during the summer transfer window.

More than 200 million pounds have started to demonstrate performance, Chelsea placed third after 10 rounds and was sure to take part in the 1/8 Champions League round but still defeated Sevilla 4-0, co-leading the Premier League in terms of the number of goals. Wins and is second in the competition in terms of the number of missed goals. The single goalie Edouard Mendy has the cleanest sheets in the Premier League at this time.

While questions exist over Chelsea’s ability, retired footballer Ashley Cole recently posted on BT Sport that his old team deserves to be deemed champions of both the Premier League and the Champions League

Cole especially enjoyed the defense, believing that this will be the secret to Chelsea’s dream of the English throne

“I’m looking at the English teams in the Champions League, and I would tell that it’s entirely conceivable that all four clubs will be in the quarter-finals and nobody will underestimate their ability. The level of Premier League football is very high, and I feel that all four clubs are capable of going deep,” said Cole.

“Or, if they are, they’re not visible weaknesses, but there would be problems Chelsea needs to solve, of course. Every team has abandoned me, and several others can point to the issue, but Chelsea can’t.

Furthermore, retired left-back England judged that what made Chelsea impressive performance in a brief period was defensive capacity. Chilwell, Mendy and Silva steadily took the key positions and kept the sheets more and more clean,” Cole said.

Why has La Liga suffered miserably recently?

If you consider the goal to measure the attractiveness of the tournaments, La Liga is at the end of the top 5 European leagues.

Statistics on the number of chances to eat, the number of shots and the number of goals in La Liga in the last two seasons have decreased sharply compared to Serie A, the Bundesliga, the Premier League and even Ligue 1. List of goalscorer Europe is also gradually absent from La Liga names. A year ago, La Liga was the league with the lowest average goal rate in Europe, only 2.4 goals per game.

La Liga actually does not have any strikers in Europe’s top 10 highest scorers. La Liga’s highest scorer is Mikel Oyarzabal, with six goals for Real Sociedad. This figure is well below Robert Lewandowski’s 11 goals and is still outside the top five in the Premier League. Oyarzabal’s success is also less like a 39-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has had eight goals for Milan since the start of the season.

The latest wave from the steering bench is often known to be one of the causes of La Liga’s target of drought. Zinedine Zidane has been a very popular leader since True. But he’s a pupil of Marcelo Lippi, a special Italian teacher. Diego Simeone is also inspired by another Italian legend, Luigi Simoni. They both knew more tactics from Italian football than from Spanish football. The same goes for Ronald Koeman-the Dutch coach is more cautious than the liberal approach of his former tutor Guus Hiddink, than his Ajax counterpart Erik Ten Hag’s generosity.

La Liga has decreased in terms of ability to score in the last three seasons

This period coincided with the exit of Neymar (to PSG in 2017) and Cristiano Ronaldo (to Juventus in 2018). Not to mention the other prominent goal scorer including Ben Yedder, who left Seville for Monaco in 2019. The “bleeding” of the prominent strikers started this summer, in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis that challenged the main theme of the teams.
